UNEX Hosts Material Handling Society of New Jersey

UNEX Manufacturing, Inc., the trusted industry leader in providing innovative order picking solutions, announces the company will be hosting a tour of their facility for the Material Handling Society of New Jersey (MHSNJ) on April 26, 2016.

After the tour, the group is invited to attend a minor league baseball game of the Lakewood BlueClaws vs. the Charleston River Dogs. The Lakewood BlueClaws are the Class A affiliate for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Charleston River Dogs are an affiliate for the New York Yankees.

Attendees will see UNEX’s full range of order picking solutions and its patented Span-Track carton flow product that doubles the capacity of carton flow systems while speeding fulfillment and increasing productivity.

The MHSNJ is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting material handling professionals by providing an educational forum and fostering communication among New Jersey's manufacturing, warehousing and distribution practitioners.

Members gain a vision of the future regarding material handling principles, practices, systems and technologies. With this increased awareness and knowledge, MHSNJ members shall be prepared to meet the challenges ahead and contribute to the productivity and efficiency of the organizations that employ them as material handling professionals.

  1. The MHSNJ tour begins at 3:30 PM at the UNEX Manufacturing facility at 691 New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood, NJ.
  2. After the tour, the group will head on over to the Monmouth Medical Center Champions Club located behind home plate on the Luxury Suite level of FirstEnergy Park.
  3. Dinner and drinks will be served starting at 6 PM with time to network before the game.
  4. First pitch is at 6:35 PM.
Cost for the tour and game is $50 for members and $80 for non-members.
